I fell in love with this picture of Carey Mulligan doing a Twiggy-inspired photo shoot for Wonderland magazine. I have one more from the same photo shoot I'd like to draw one of these days.

I spent the better part of my morning today working on that blouse.. 5 hours to be exact and it was brutal. I chose this reference for many reasons and as always, it kicked me in the pie hole.
Also, call me crazy but I'm actually giving this drawing away as a prize on my Facebook fan page at facebook.com/disdaindespair to a lucky winner from my Like list. I made a promise that this Fall season I'd give away a drawing intended for my portfolio and I'm pretty good at keeping my word. So if anyone would like a chance to win this original drawing go to facebook.com/disdaindespair and Like my page. I will do the random drawing on Halloween, Monday, October 31st.
